Jordan and I made it to the west coast. This is a video of random events -- a more serious one will follow the actual trip. And our trip back east will have its own video too.
My little brother and I have embarked on a grand journey! We're making a road trip across the country and around before I head off to film school. Check out the first video bit of the journey.
I'll be posting videos throughout the trip and updating even more on Facebook and Twitter. Let me know what you think.,
A.C. and I finally finished our first music video. We're excited about it and it was a huge help learning how to do something like this. Let us know what you all think:
This is just a video Langdon and I put together for Cary News. It starts getting real hype around the :25 mark. Josh Davis, of Athens Drive, will be hoopin' for State next year.
Every now and then, I'll be posting short videos that I've kept tucked away for rainy days. This is the first of many, check back for more hidden gems. (BTW, we're in a baseball dugout at Turner Field in the video. Just giving it some context.)
Well I'm back behind the desk and this time learning that my bedroom's window provides a ridiculously harsh backlight in the afternoon. Oh well, check out this experiment doing what I do best: sleeping.
You may need to watch it in full screen if you have a burning desire to see what's written on the poster.
I'll have the results of the experiment up Thursday.
I HAD TO RE-LOAD THE VIDEO -- REALIZED TOO LATE THE END WAS CUT OFF. WATCH IT AGAIN WITH A COMPLETE END!!!!
Make sure you've watched the first one before you watch the final installment -- the season finale. Otherwise, it will be more confusing and random than it already is.
That should be it for stuff from Atlanta. I may have other gems stashed away for later dates, but for now it's back to my life in Raleigh. Stay tuned!
Here's the first half of The Real World - Atlanta we shot during Mike's wedding weekend. Most of you will probably think it's just too corny, but we thought it was the funniest thing ever.
Hope you like it. I'll have the second half up tomorrow.
Our weekend in Atlanta for Mike's wedding was FANTASTIC. All the groomsmen had a great time and for the next couple of days I'll be uploading videos about our adventures.
The first one is our first night at the hotel, deciding to jump into freezing waters when the temp outside was in the 30s. Some of the stuff -- like the reference to Dave's mormon scientology religion and A.C.'s cheating girlfriend -- are references to the Real World stuff we shot. That should come out later today.
This second video is a nice freestyle from J-Free and Co. followed by some shots from the reception after the wedding. The groomsmen were mixing it up hard on the dance floor but it was apparently tough for our camera man to get really good shots. But the reviews of the performance are at the end.
So the video I have to submit is finally finished and is off to the Watkins College of Art and Design admission office tomorrow. It could only be six shots of no more than eight seconds each. It could not have any dialogue and had to be about someone revealing a secret to someone else. Hopefully you guys will get what's going on.
Also, I have an insane amount of footage shot from Atlanta -- like four hours worth. Obviously very little of it will make the cut on to the blog, but plenty will still be popping up this week. Expect an initial batch to start rolling in tomorrow.
It's my first attempt at shooting with my new camera and editing in iMovie. So be patient -- it will get better. I also either need to get shorter or learn to adjust a frame.
